Hello, I'm Damm Nice. I own and operate a small tattoo boutique in Downtown Yonkers NY, just North of NYC.
I enjoy the flexibility tattooing as a medium has to offer. From photo realism to 3d graphic design, for the most part any kind of image can be converted into a tattoo- the living canvas.
Some artists are specialist in thier specific style. For sometime, I thought I specialized in Tattooing in general (i.e. black/grey, color, cute stuff, mean stuff, tribal, etc)- but found out I infact specialize in Scar Masking (stretch marks, keloids, burns etc) and tattoo cover ups. This happened as a result of tattooing for survival.
The learning curb is steep in tattooing, especially when you are a versitile artist like I am. Do not be fooled by believing tattooing is something a person can learn in three days. Sure, there are tried and true methods toward doing tattoos of a specific style routinely.
There is no "one way" approach in executing a tattoo by method of various approaches.
This method allows it to be new and exciting each and everytime giving the work a style and flavor all its own.
When you're ready to make your mark, make sure it comes out Damm Nice!
